Maserati MC12 in Slovakia for the first time

One of the most striking cars at the festival was the Maserati MC12, which, in cooperation with Richard Chlad, was presented to the Slovak public. One of the rarest modern supercars became the centrepiece of this year's festival.

The MC12 was not the only Slovak premiere. Visitors could also see Gemballa GTR600 Le Mans, Vector M12 and the Czech prototype Innotech Mysterro. In total, the festival presented eight Slovak automotive premieres.

The Gemballa GTR600 Le Mans was one of the rarest cars in the entire line-up. It is an exceptional Porsche conversion with approximately 610 hp, capable of reaching a top speed of around 340 km/h.

Cars you could not only see, but hear

Slovak Car Festival differed from a traditional static exhibition mainly because a large part of the programme took place in motion.

In the centre of Brezno, visitors could see Formula F3000 V8, Audi Sport Quattro S1 and Škoda Rally 130 LR/EVO. One of the loudest moments of the festival was the cold start of a Formula 1 car.

The airfield belonged to drifting and adrenaline. Professional drift exhibitions, a battle between drivers from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, a motorcycle stunt show and other dynamic demonstrations gave visitors a completely different atmosphere from a traditional car exhibition.

Tatra 813 8×8 and the Aero L-29 Delfín

The off-road programme demonstrated the power of the legendary Tatra 813 8×8, which appeared during a demolition run. Rohozná also featured a Trial Show, off-road specials, quad bikes and off-road taxi rides.

The festival also went beyond the boundaries of the automotive programme and into aviation. Above Brezno and the festival grounds flew the jet aircraft Aero L-29 Delfín, creating one of the most memorable moments of the entire event.

From supercars to automotive history

The programme was not built around supercars alone. The individual festival locations featured new vehicles, motorcycles, Japanese cars, off-road machinery, military and fire vehicles, as well as an extensive collection of rally cars.

The festival also included the Double Red Cars Museum grounds, where automotive history was complemented by a retro zone inspired by American petrol stations from the 1970s.

Thanks to the combination of historic cars, modern supercars, motorsport, machinery and accompanying activities, the festival appealed to automotive enthusiasts as well as visitors who came to Brezno with their whole families.

Nine locations. One automotive city.

The festival atmosphere was not confined to a single place. Nine locations in and around Brezno connected the city centre, Double Red Cars Museum, the airfield, off-road zones and other festival locations.

Transport between the locations was provided by festival shuttle services including city road trains, Zbojnícka strela, the Neusohl Express, an American bus, Drakovláčik and shuttle transport.
