Fiat Coupé

This was a coupe produced by the Italian car manufacturer fiat between 1993 and 2000. The car was first presented at the 1993 Brussels Motor Show.

The car is notable for its futuristic angular shapes, with notched side panels. The body was designed by Chris Bangle of centro stile Fiat, while the interior was designed by Pininfarina.

The exterior design was a preview of the automotive design of the late 1990s. Beginning in 1993, the coupé was available with a 2.0l 16v 4-cylinder engine, in turbo (190 hp) and atmospheric (139 hp) versions.

Both engines were newer versions of the Fiat twin-cam design and inherited from the Lancia delta integrale, which was a 6-time winner in the World Rally Championship.

In 1996 introduced the 1.8l 16v engine (not available in the UK, 130 hp) along with a 2.0-litre five-cylinder 20v (147 hp) and a five-cylinder 20v turbo (220 hp). Acceleration from o to 100 km/h was achieved by the coupé with this engine in 6.3 seconds, and top speed was 250 km/h and the Fiat coupé was among the fastest front-wheel drive vehicles.
